Is all your jewellery sterling silver?
Yes, all Lily Charmed jewellery is 925 sterling silver, 18 carat gold plated sterling silver or solid 9 carat gold. All of our silver charms are cast from recycled sterling silver too!
What is 925 sterling silver?
Silver by itself is a very soft metal so around 7% of the material used in quality silver jewellery is made of other alloys, usually copper to give it strength and longevity. All our silver jewellery is stamped 925 which refers to the fact that at least 92.5% of the metal is pure silver.
What is Recycled Sterling Silver?
We are all looking for ways, big and small, to help be part of the solution to climate change, and sustainability. Using Recycled sterling silver silver (previously mined silver) helps to limit the amount of metals that must be produced, the use of chemicals to process them, and lowers the impact on the environment. Lily Charmed has been seeking ways to take the small steps towards more sustainable and ethical production of their jewellery, a big step is using recycled sterling silver and helps minimise the need for the mining of virgin silver.
Do You Offer a Warranty?
We want you to enjoy your jewellery for years to come. That’s why we offer a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase covering any manufacturing defects or faulty workmanship.
- If a fault develops within this period, we’ll repair or replace your item at no charge.
- If the plating has worn away and you’ve followed our care guidance (for example: remove jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising, and avoid contact with chemicals or cosmetics), we’ll review your case and may offer a replacement.
Our warranty does not cover:
- Tarnishing, colour change or surface build-up that naturally occurs with wear and age
- Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or improper care or storage
- Loss of the item
- Alterations or repairs carried out by anyone other than us
If you think your jewellery has a manufacturing fault, please contact us with a clear photo of the issue and your proof of purchase so our team can help you.
Note: Items purchased through a third-party vendor (outside of lilycharmed.com) will not be covered under this warranty. In this instance please reach out to the company or store that the items were originally purchased from.
Is Your Jewellery Hallmarked?
By law all sterling silver items over 7.8 grams must be hallmarked by the Assay Office. We hallmark all our silver that is over this weight with the Birmingham assay office. All our 9 carat gold is also Hallmarked by the assay office. All our jewellery is stamped 925 in the manufacturing process.
How Can I Track My Order?
Once you place your order online, you will be able to see the details of the purchase and receive regular updates from when your order is placed and dispatched as well as shipping tracking information (depending on the service you have selected).
Do You Offer Gift Boxes?
All our jewellery comes beautifully presented in our premium gift box to give you the unboxing experience. If you are buying for a gift, you can add our luxury gift bag for £2.50 available in your cart drawer.
Why Can't I return Engraved Items?
Unless your engraved jewellery is faulty or we made a mistake (unusual!), we cannot accept returns as we can’t resell it. This does not effect your statutory rights.
I want to send a gift directly to the recipient and I don’t want them to see the price I paid.
No problem. All our orders are packed with a packing list that does not show the price. The invoice is emailed to the purchaser directly.
